Only by adding your voice to the hundreds of others who are against the industrialisation of Scotland's scenery, destructions of its habitats and damage to our tourist industry can we make the politicians listen and act.
Writing a letter of objection or sending an e-mail is a simple way of adding your objection to a planning application - it does not take much time and it does help.
Dorenell Wind Farm (Glenfiddich Estate)
A planning application has been submitted for 59 x 126m Turbines. It's in a wilderness area and there will be over 26 miles of roads with
- Quarries from which they will excavate well over 100,000 tonnes of material
- 26550 cubic M of concrete and 2500 tonnes of reinforced steel for the turbine foundations
- a concrete batching plant
- Accomodation buildings, electrical sub-station and underground cables
The turbines will be up to 2300 feet AMSL making them visible for miles around from all the major view points including the Cairngorm National Park
